Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of MechFaber, operated by Argentron Technologies.

Last updated 5 August 2026

1. Who we are

MechFaber (the "Service") is provided by Argentron Technologies Pvt. Ltd., trading as Argentron Technologies, registered at 210, New Mandi, Baraut, Uttar Pradesh, India — 250611 under corporate identity number U62099UP2026PTC250291 ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. What the Service is

MechFaber is a machine-design engine exposed over the Model Context Protocol. It sources and measures components, generates parametric CAD, runs geometric and physical checks, simulates the resulting machine, and executes user-supplied firmware against an emulated target.

We do not supply the model. MechFaber is the MCP server; the language model that drives it is whichever one you run in your own agent, under your own agreement with that provider. We are not responsible for its output, its cost, or its terms.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including work done by agents you have authorised to act on it.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
  • Accounts may not be shared between individuals outside a Team plan seat allocation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to design anything unlawful, including weapons prohibited under Indian law or the law applying to you.
  • Attempt to circumvent the gates, quotas, or access controls.
  • Submit build scripts or firmware intended to attack, exfiltrate from, or persist within our infrastructure.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute the parts library as a standalone dataset.
  • Reverse engineer the Service except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable by law.

5. Your content and your designs

You retain ownership of everything you submit and everything you generate: build scripts, CAD output, firmware, and exported STEP, GLB and STL files. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate the Service.

Where you contribute a measured part record to the shared community library, you grant other users a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use that record within the Service. Underlying manufacturer data remains subject to the rights of its original publisher.

6. Third-party data and vendor files

Part records cite manufacturer datasheets and catalogues. We do not own that source material and make no representation that your intended use of a vendor's STEP file or specification is licensed. Check the vendor's own terms before relying on their files commercially.

7. No engineering warranty

The gates are checks, not a certification. MechFaber does not sign off a design as safe to build, operate, or sell. Output is provided for engineering exploration. You are responsible for independent review, for compliance with applicable machinery, electrical and safety regulations, and for physical testing before any machine derived from the Service is built or operated.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Plans, billing and iteration

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.
  • Part-period fees are not refunded on cancellation, except where refund is required by law.
  • Prices may change on 30 days' notice to you.
  • Iteration is not metered — rebuilds within your plan's fair-use limits are unrestricted.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store card details.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and capacity limits may cause downtime. Any service-level commitment for Team plans is set out in a separate agreement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, nor for loss of profit, data, or business arising from use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
